Chief Financial Officer transition at Bekaert

Bekaert announces today that Chief Financial Officer, Taoufiq Boussaid, will step down from his role on 31 October 2024 to pursue new opportunities. Bekaert is also pleased to announce the appointment of Seppo Parvi as Chief Financial Officer and a member of Bekaert’s Group Executive Committee, effective from 1 November 2024.

Since joining Bekaert in July 2019, Taoufiq Boussaid has been a member of the Group’s Executive Committee, supporting the company through an important period of transformation and strategic progress. Under his financial leadership Bekaert has delivered improved profitability and cashflow generation, a stronger balance sheet, increased shareholder value and laid a strong foundation for sustainable growth.

Seppo Parvi has had an extensive, international career in financial and operational leadership. Since 2014 he has been CFO, Deputy to the CEO and Finland country manager at Stora Enso, a leading provider of renewable products in packaging, biomaterials, and construction. Prior to that he held senior leadership roles at Ahlstrom and Huhtamaki.
